It was 1999 when I joined Midwich, as a member of the Fast Response (reactive sales) Team. After a year I was part of a team of three who formed the first ever Business Development team. I then took this experience and helped form the first Audio Visual team, which met the increasing demands of our AV portfolio, especially as we had started working with Sanyo Projectors. The team helped develop AV products across the Education and Business markets, which were starting to explore their capabilities. I was responsible for assisting the sales team on quotations, projects and technical information within Midwich's 5 largest customers. The AV team also helped train all staff at Midwich, increasing our collective expertise, which meant I was able to move onto to another first for Midwich: the new Accessories Team. This team included technologies such as projector and plasma brackets, and projector screens across around 8 brands.
In 2011 I joined the Midwich Home team, a new sector which Midwich was targeting, supporting the growing consumer audio visual and small domestic appliances needs in the retail sector. This has been a great success as we are now selling significant volumes into leading high street stores. In 2015 I joined the profiling team as a Senior Profiler. I now work alongside the Fast Response Team, where I started back in 1999. We profile the new trade customers, confirming they are "trade" and marry them with the most appropriate sales team. This enables us to maximise their customer experience and ensure their account is managed on a suitable level. I thoroughly enjoy working for Midwich and am proud to be part of such a successful and adventurous company.
