How the 2017 Security Guide is providing Essential Security Industry Expertise
In March 2017, Midwich released the latest in their series of technical catalogues and guides, the Security Guide 2017. The guide contains essential industry insights and expertise, whilst highlighting the importance of security in commercial AV applications today. The guide includes a range of technologies including access control, detection, surveillance and more.
We caught up with Carl Hayesmore, Technical Sales Manager for Security at Midwich to find out how the incorporated technologies are particularly relevant to the AV buyer in 2017.
"The 2017 Security catalogue allows us to showcase our ever-expanding range of products suitable for AV installations. These are becoming an essential part of an AV buyer's portfolio for AV installs with products from network infrastructure, wireless networking and IP cameras becoming an everyday requirement."
More than ever, security installs are vital in helping the buyer grow their business, and are becoming increasingly important within commercial AV applications.
"AV installers are beginning to expand their product offering beyond AV into security products. This is bringing them into the CCTV, access control and intercom markets, this is where we can help. This catalogue offers them an insight into areas they have typically shied away from and an idea of the influential brands available."
Midwich worked extremely closely with the brands to ensure the very latest technologies and products were included, as well as the essential products that resellers and end users simply must have access too. The top brands in the industry are always keen to get involved with the guides and added value marketing that Midwich offers, for several reasons.
Julie Jephson, Business Relationships Manager for SilverNet commented; SilverNet were keen to support Midwich Security as an approved distributor of our products. We very much look forward to further building our relationship with Midwich. And look forward to seeing an increased level of interest in our products going forward, following on from the release of the 2017 Guide. The Guide has proven to be very informative and professionally presented."
Rebecca Woollard from Hanwha Techwin also added “Hanwha Techwin has been a partner with Midwich for over 5 years. We are delighted to be part of the Security Guide and hope you find the information useful.”
Carl commented "Midwich offers a broad customer base across many disciplines of install from AV, Broadcast, Security & IT marketplaces which open our vendors to a wider customer base than traditional security distribution. This catalogue will allow them to get in front of those accounts in a simple way."
Carl finishes by adding that; "The 2017 security catalogue showcases Midwich as a serious player within the security distribution market place, with a wealth of technology and expertise which can help our customers grow their business beyond the traditional security envelope."
