In its final year in Amsterdam RAI, ISE 2020 remained one of the most talked-about industry events. The event remained as popular as ever, with thousands of visitors pooling through the doors across the four days.
This mammoth technology show features over 1,300 exhibitors and is the place to discover industry firsts, with each brand unveiling new products and visitors determining the latest influences on the tech landscape in the year to come.
The Midwich TV team caught up with Lee Rudd the Philips Professional Displays Business Manager, pre-ISE to talk us through what we should expect from Philips at the show.
As always, the Philips Professional Display Solutions stand was a massive hit at the event. The stand included the display manufacturer’s full lineup of digital signage and professional TVs, from bezel-free videowalls to touchscreens and the latest hospitality TVs, as well as showcasing useful partner solutions to bring the technology innovatively to life. In case you weren’t able to make this year’s ISE, here is what the Philips Professional Display Solutions stand had on offer.
Interactivity and a collaborative approach to learning are both now essential in every educational environment. To enable this, schools, colleges and universities are installing more technology onto their campuses, and the education technology market is set to more than double in value by 2022, to $40,9billion. To help enable the further adoption of these learning approaches, Philips Professional Display Solutions launched its brand-new T-Line interactive education range.
The role of technology in classrooms has become an essential component for both teaching and learning, but it is no longer enough to have an interactive whiteboard at the front of the class. The best technology in a school is increasingly a key decision-maker for parents and students when selecting their school, college or university.
The new Philips T-Line interactive range was launched at ISE 2020. Available in 65”, 25” and 86”, this range of interactive displays is sleek and stylish, with narrow bezels, helping teachers engage with the class. Up to 64 students can simultaneously connect their own personal device directly to the display and wireless screenshare, allowing an entire lecture hall to collaborate and work together, while up to four students can show their work on the T-Line display at any one time as well.
Philips Professional Display Solutions has a long and well-proven history of working together with partners, integrators, resellers and customers to facilitate collaboration across every sector. At ISE 2020, this was no exception and Philips PDS launched a series of new product lines that will help enable collaborative working, making it both intuitive and hassle-free.
Whether in a huddle space, meeting room, board room, classroom or any other collaborative setting, in the past two years sales of collaborative displays have seen spectacular growth. This trend is set to continue, especially with interactive in the corporate market. In fact, as this technology is widely adopted, it is expected to double in growth over the next five years.
The new Philips C-Line PCAP collaboration display was launched at ISE 2020 and is designed to meet the needs of any size of meeting room, with displays ranging in size from 55”, 65”, 75” through to 86”. Available on either a Windows or Android-based platform, and with the connections and certifications needed to make business easy, including Crestron, Extron and Neets, these impressive new displays are set to bring a range of brand new benefits to businesses. All helping bring creativity and increase engagement from huddle spaces through to large board rooms.
Meanwhile, the new Philips B-Line professional TV for business environments includes features and functionality to make connectivity in meeting room and shared spaces easier. Google-certified and with Chromecast built-in, users are able to share content, including their presentations and communications, at the touch of a button, with no need for additional hardware or wires.
Available in 50”, 58”, 70” and 75” models, all stylishly finished with a sleek black bezel, the new B-Line series opens new opportunities for businesses looking to improve and streamline their digital communications.
Last year at ISE, Philips Professional Display Solutions launched its new MediaSuite – a revolutionary new hospitality TV featuring a host of cutting-edge benefits, including Chromecast built-in, enhanced personalisation and entertainment choice. The range set a new standard for professional TVs in the hospitality space.
Building on the success they have received over the year, now Philips Professional Display Solutions has launched its latest MediaSuite range.
Jeroen Verhaeghe, Product Manager responsible for Philips Professional TVs, said:
