Our credit team wins a British Credit Award 2024

Midwich UK&I’s credit team has won a British Credit Award 2024 for supporting our community.

The awards are hosted by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) and recognise the achievements and hard work of individuals, teams, and organisations in the international credit industry. Our credit team was awarded the 'Supporting the Community award' which is given to an individual or team who shows commitment to ‘giving back’ to their community, promotes a charitable cause, or supports their community in other ways.

With great enthusiasm, the credit team has joined in with several UK&I activities over the last 12 months aimed at giving back to our community.

Louise Nevard, Midwich UK&I credit director, said:

"At Midwich, we have a strong ethos of giving back, whether it is supporting our local community or raising funds for charities across the UK&I. Our people have a passion for getting involved to help others (people or animals) and we also gain the 'feel good' factor along the way as it is often a chance to get out in the open air for our own wellbeing too.

“Our team members within credit have involved themselves in many activities over the last twelve months, from running a marathon, walking miles along the coast, climbing the Three Peaks, painting benches, baking cakes to working with the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.  We are all tremendously proud of what we have achieved as a team and as a business."

The judges commented: "The winner has created a real community feel within their company with great employee engagement on giving back to the community. The diverse range of fundraising activities resulted in some fantastic donations to charities."
